Christopher M. Bell, Esq.

After growing up in the Northern Appalachians of Upstate New York, attorney Chris Bell moved to Virginia in 2000. He attended East Carolina University where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. It was during his time at ECU that he discovered a deep passion for the law and advocacy, setting the foundation for his inevitable legal career.

After gaining valuable, real-world experience during four years in the private sector , Chris pursued his calling by enrolling at Regent University School of Law in 2010. There, he quickly distinguished himself as Chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and represented his school in national negotiation competitions in New Orleans and Dallas.

Following graduation, Chris served as a prosecutor in Southampton County, Virginia for nearly eight years, and later in Scott County, Virginia for four more. His extensive experience in the courtroom, deep knowledge of criminal law, and commitment to justice provided him with a strong foundation in trial work and advocacy.

Recognizing a pressing need for skilled and compassionate legal representation in Southwest Virginia, Chris established his own law firm, Bell Law Firm, PLLC, in 2025. Today, he focuses his practice on criminal defense and personal injury, helping clients navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives with confidence and care.
